Here you can see some of the best steampunk sculptures made by Stephane Halleux, Belgian designer and artist. Halleux was born in 1972 and he spend the most of his career working as an illustrator and painted. He used to work on creation of different comics. However, he decided to change his artistic occupation in latest few years and he started to investigate the possibilities of steampunk style. That desire for change came from his frustration with the lack of creativity in animation business because of commercial side of comics industry, so he decided to leave animation. As a final sign of frustration he left his job where he had to draw things he didn’t wanted to draw, and found job in the furniture factory where he got his first ideas about creating steampunk sculptures. According to photos of his artworks, he certainly has some talent for that job. He says that he is excited to work with steampunk because he observes steampunk style as a crazy and exciting mixture of technology and science done in romantic way.
